Jaipur Journey: A Cultural Retreat with Team Shuru

All of us have travelled or are wishing to travel to Jaipur – the city known for its magnificent palaces and vibrant markets, which makes the city a remarkable tourist destination. Recently, at Shuru our team was given the opportunity to engrave our souls with the culture’s richness and beauty. Team gatherings at Shuru are a quarterly ritual that we follow, aiming majorly at creating synergies within the team and building relationships.

During our time in Jaipur, we engaged in a series of activities and adventures aimed at enhancing our professional skills and fostering collaboration. These sessions were led by our Founders Mr. Diwakar Kaushik, Mr. Kshitij Bhardwaj, and Mr. Akashdeep Singh providing valuable insights and perspectives that will benefit our team and organisation.

In addition to the business aspects of the trip, we also immersed ourselves in the rich culture and heritage of Jaipur. From exploring historic landmarks to savouring local cuisine, every moment was an opportunity to learn and grow.

The journey started 2 months ago in January following a series of discussions, activities and planning. Let me take you through the Journey.

On the 8th of March, our team embarked on a 3-day journey to Jaipur, filled with excitement and curiosity. Upon arrival, we wasted no time and dove straight into the itinerary, starting with a refreshing pool session. The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to catch up and bond, setting a positive tone for the rest of the trip. As evening approached, we gathered for a delightful dinner, filled with lively conversations and games like dumb charades. However, the highlight of the night was a thrilling poker game, which added an exciting twist to our first day in Jaipur.

The second day of your trip sounds like a perfect blend of history, culture, and fun! On the 9th of March, our day began with a hearty breakfast, energizing us for the exciting day ahead. Our first stop was Nahargarh Fort, where we immersed ourselves in the beauty of this historic palace. Guided by our COO Mr. Kshitij Bhardwaj who is a native from Jaipur, we learned fascinating anecdotes about the fort, making our visit even more memorable. After spending a couple of hours exploring and capturing the beauty of Nahargarh Fort, we proceeded to our next destination, Chokhi Dhani.

Chokhi Dhani welcomed us with its vibrant culture and warm hospitality. We were captivated by the traditional Rajasthani music, dance performances, and the overall ambiance of the place. Engaging in various games and activities, we embraced the culture and spirit of Rajasthan. The highlight of the evening was the delicious Rajasthani cuisine, which left us with a taste of the region’s rich culinary heritage. Overall, our visit to Nahargarh Fort and Chokhi Dhani was a delightful experience, filled with fun, cultural immersion, and unforgettable memories.

As the sun set on our final day in Jaipur, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experiences and memories we had created together. Our trip was not just about exploring a new city; it was about coming together as a team, building relationships, and creating lasting bonds. From the vibrant markets to the majestic forts, Jaipur had captured our hearts in more ways than one.

As we bid farewell to the Pink City, we knew that the memories of this trip would stay with us forever. The laughter, the conversations, and the shared experiences had strengthened our team and brought us closer together. We returned to our daily lives with a renewed sense of camaraderie and a deeper appreciation for the power of teamwork.

Jaipur had left its mark on us, engraving our souls with its culture’s richness and beauty. Our trip to Jaipur was not just a journey; it was an unforgettable experience that would always hold a special place in our hearts
